WORKSHOP - Glazes for the Absolute Novice June 6 & 7th
This two-part glaze workshop combines hands-on making with thoughtful review. On Saturday 6th June (10am–4pm), you’ll learn the fundamentals of glaze chemistry while mixing and designing your own glazes using a wide range of raw materials. On Sunday 7th June (5:30–7:30pm), we reconvene to review fired results, discuss outcomes, and deepen your understanding of oxides, materials, firing, and evaluation. All raw materials, firing costs, safety equipment, and a comprehensive booklet of notes and references are included—perfect for anyone wanting to demystify glazes and build confidence in their own testing and results.
