This opportunity is intended for an experienced ceramic practitioner or studio operator.

The sublessee must be confident in:

• Packing and firing kilns

• Mixing and managing glazes

• Running classes or studio operations independently

This is not a supported or supervised studio environment.

The sublease includes:

• Studio space (approx. 75sqm)

• Access to equipment negotiable.

• Electricity and water usage

• Mailing list and promotional access through Abbotsford Convent

Not included:

• Clay and raw materials

• Glaze s or consumables

• Kiln maintenance or repairs

• Staffing or operating costs

• insurance costs

Yes.

The space is flexible and may support:

• A pottery school

• Workshop-based programming

• Membership studio models

• Retail + studio hybrid

• Production-based practice

Proposed uses should align with the broader context of Abbotsford Convent and be approved prior to agreement.

Yes.

At the end of the initial two-year term, the sublessee may:

• Exit the space

• Purchase the equipment and fitout. and/or assume the lease

A fixed pricing structure will be negoatiated at the commencement of the sublease to provide clarity and certainty.
