Hi Ya,

I'm Remus, while the hoomans are busy making stuff, it's my job to man the fort. I don't type so quick so if you could help a dog out by checking the FAQs before emailing us, that would be much appreciated.

We do not offer a firing service.

Cone 11 is primarily a working pottery studio and is not set up for parties, Hens and other once-off events. We highly recommend Sarah Schembri Ceramics Studio for social events.

Individual Tuition, Group Tuition, Children's Classes

We currently do not offer individual tuition, once-off classes, taster classes, lessons for private groups or children's classes/summer holiday programs.

Course Content

All our classes are wheel throwing classes unless otherwise listed as a handbuilding course.

Booking Process

If you are applying to do courses with us for the first time, we ask you join the mailing list here. Once joined, you will receive an enrolment email approximately 2 weeks before the start of each term (there are 4 terms per year). Priority is given to our returning students and the remaining seats are open to new students on a first in, best dressed basis. New bookings can only be made via the enrolment email and cannot be made through this website or by emailing us directly.

Course Fee

$545.00 for the 8-week course = one 2.5-hour class per week for 8 weeks.

Firing Costs

Students are provided with an unlimited amount of raw clay to work with, however once you commit to firing pieces in our kiln there is a limit of 2kg of finished work per student (this is included in the course fee). Students can make and fire work over this limit, however there is an additional charge of $18.80 per kilogram for any work made over the scheduled 2.5kg limit.
